That's my understanding of that, har. I think there is in fact a class on colour theory at Columbia but I do need to take it ... So I'm not really good with that. I'm just paraphrasing from what I learned in grade school art class.
Anywhoos, I didn't really think much about it until looking at my snapshots afterwards that hey! They're opposites on the colour wheel (roughly)!

I guess it's hard to tell but I do have a tiny bit of oranges with my blues ... Browns sort of count as well. It's strange how things sort of fall in place like that. I just thought the combination looked cute.
I think I was just wandering the grid for some cute flats and stumbled back into Sand Shack Surf Co. I love the clothes in there but end up putting off the buying there cause it can get semi-steep sometimes. From those flats, I just built my outfit using various things like a soft wrinkly texture here, a patterned one there ... ... Comfy legwarmers. I heart legwarmers.
I just find it fun when you sort of do things you don't mean to when putting this sorta thing together.
